Vacations between mountain and lake
Our apartments are located in Seeboden, on Lake Millstatt in Carinthia. You can park your car directly in front of our house, completely free of charge.
However, you don't necessarily have to start your vacation at Lake Millstatt by car. Spittal an der Drau train station is well frequented on both the southern and northern ÖBB lines. It is also an attractive hub for numerous excursions.

Navigation:
Plan route: Seespitz 37 / 9871 Seeboden / Austria
From the north:
Start e.g. in Salzburg (169 km). Follow the A10 Tauernautobahn - pay attention to the toll - to the exit Spittal/Lake Millstätter See. Then on to the B98 (Millstätter Bundesstraße) In the direction of Seeboden to the finish.
From the south:
From Udine (160 km) via the Autostrada in the direction of Tarvisio and Villach. With Spittal/Lake Millstätter See turn left onto the B98 and drive straight on to Seeboden.
From the East:
From Vienna via the A2 Direction Graz (198 km) and on to Villach. Also with Spittal/Lake Millstätter See and turn left onto the B98 follow the road to Seeboden.
From the West:
From Innsbruck (265 km) on the A12 to Wörgl, more about St. Johann and Kitzbühel. Subsequently the Felbertauern toll road take, about Lienz and with Spittal/Lake Millstätter See turn off. From there turn left onto B98 and on to Seeboden.
Arrival by train
From the north:
From Munich you travel directly via Salzburg to Spittal/Lake Millstätter See - comfortable and relaxed.
From the south:
From Venice by train via Udine and Tarvisio to Villach; from there on to Spittal/Lake Millstätter See.
From the East:
Two equivalent routes:
Variant 1: Vienna → Leoben → Klagenfurt → Villach → Spittal/Millstätter See
Variant 2: Vienna → Linz → Salzburg → Spittal/Millstätter See (direct connection)
From the West:
From Innsbruck about Schwarzach/St. Veit directly after Spittal/Lake Millstätter See - stress-free and convenient.
Train station shuttle (Carinthia):
Practical and inexpensive transfer from the station to your accommodation or excursion destination - and back.
Book online:
Reservation until 20:00 the day before about the ÖBB ticket storewhich ÖBB App or by telephone.
Only shuttle necessary?
If your train ticket is already fixed, you can also use the station shuttle separately by telephone book.
Booking by telephone:
Daily 06:00-21:00 under +43 4242 42000 24.
Note - "ÖBB Transfer Kärnten":
Since Summer 2024 the shuttle will be operated by ÖBB under this name. The service remains as convenient and inexpensive as before - and is now additionally directly in the ÖBB ticket store bookable, ideally together with your train ticket.
Arrival by plane
Airport Klagenfurt (85 km):
After landing in Klagenfurt, you are only 85 km from your accommodation - quick and easy access to the region.
Salzburg Airport (144 km):
If you arrive in Salzburg, you have 144 km to our vacation apartments - relaxed in the picturesque surroundings.
Airport Ljubljana (122 km):
Ljubljana is also a practical option: from there it is only 122 km to us - comfortably further into the Carinthian region.
Airport transfer:
For a particularly stress-free arrival, book the transfer from the airport directly to the Seespitz 37 - easiest with the Carinthia Transfer.
Nockmobil - Mobile on site
Sustainable on the road
Even without your own car, you are flexible with us: 50 meters from the house, the Nockmobil at the bus stop NM 326 "Klingerpark landing stage" - perfect for spontaneous trips in the region. The Nockmobil is a regional micro-public transport service on demand that takes you from A to B in comfort. With your Guest card travel at reduced prices.
The nearest bus stop is only approx. 100 m and offers regular connections to the surrounding towns.

Our service
We will be happy to collect you (up to 4 people) and your luggage from the station. Alternatively you can use the Call Nockimobil, that brings you - no matter how many people you are - comfortably to us, your accommodation by the lake.
